An Assortment of WWII United States Army and Navy Uniforms, Equipment, and Ephemera - This lot comprises several pieces of United States military uniforms and accessories dating to the WWII era. Included are multiple US Army olive drab wool double-breasted overcoats featuring brass eagle buttons and rear half-belts, consistent with the M-1939 pattern. The collection also contains a tan cotton field coat and a lightweight field or flight-style jacket. Representing the US Navy is a dark blue wool jumper and matching trousers. The jumper displays a Petty Officer 2nd Class rating badge for a Storekeeper, indicated by two red chevrons below a white eagle with a crossed keys specialty mark. A US Army service cap is included, constructed of olive drab wool with a brown leather visor and chin strap. The interior sweatband of the cap bears the printed mark Philadelphia Uniform Co. INC. CONSHOHOCKEN, PA and is sized 7 1/8. Additional equipment includes a tan canvas shoulder bag with a black U.S. stencil and adjustable webbing straps. Ephemera consists of a WWII homefront promotional poster designed as a War Savings Stamps progress board, titled DO YOUR PART TO WIN THE WAR BUY MORE WAR SAVINGS STAMPS, along with several vintage stamp booklets.Shipping Available.
