1911 Ohio Porcelain Enameled Iron License Plate Number 12134 by Ingram-Richardson Mfg. Co. - This is an early state-issued automotive registration plate from Ohio, dated 1911. The plate is constructed of porcelain enamel over an iron base. It features a white ground with dark, possibly navy blue or black, registration numerals 12134. The state name OHIO is oriented vertically on the left margin, and the year 1911 is oriented vertically on the right margin. The plate includes two horizontal mounting slots at the top and four circular mounting holes at the corners. The reverse side features a stamped manufacturer mark in the center that reads: ING-RICH PORCELAIN ENAMELED IRON SIGNS MADE BY INGRAM-RICHARDSON MFG. CO. BEAVER FALLS PENNA. This mark identifies the plate as a product of the Ingram-Richardson Manufacturing Company of Beaver Falls, Pennsylvania.Shipping Available.
