A Pair of Vintage Ohio Stamped Metal License Plates 1931 and 1933 - A pair of vintage state-issued license plates from Ohio. These items are constructed from stamped metal with embossed characters and dates. The first plate is from 1933 and features an orange background with black embossed characters. The top edge is marked OHIO-1933 and the central registration number is 88-031. The second plate is from 1931 and features a brown-orange background with black embossed characters. The bottom edge is marked OHIO-1931 and the central registration number is 88-032. Both plates include standard mounting holes at the corners. The registration numbers are nearly sequential despite being issued two years apart, suggesting they were likely registered to the same owner or vehicle. The reverse of each plate shows the negative of the embossed characters and retains remnants of adhesive tape from a previous mounting.Shipping Available.
