Original 1926 Ohio Embossed Steel Automobile License Plate - An antique 1926 automobile license plate from the state of Ohio. The plate is constructed from heavy-gauge embossed steel. The center of the plate features the embossed registration number 679-785. Along the bottom edge, the plate is embossed with the identification OHIO-1926. The design includes four circular mounting holes, one at each corner, and two elongated horizontal mounting slots along the top edge. The original color scheme consists of yellow-orange painted embossed characters against a dark background, likely originally black. The reverse side shows a mirrored negative of the embossed front characters. 14 inches x 6 inches.Shipping Available.
