A Pair of Vintage Ohio Embossed Metal License Plates, 1936 and 1937 - This lot consists of two vintage embossed metal motor vehicle license plates from the State of Ohio, dated 1936 and 1937. The 1936 plate features a yellow background with dark blue-green embossed characters and a matching perimeter border, bearing the registration number X-999-U and the inscription OHIO - 1936. The 1937 plate features a yellow background with dark red or maroon embossed characters and border, bearing the registration number X-900-J and the inscription OHIO - 1937. Both plates are constructed of stamped steel with four pre-drilled mounting holes. The reverse of each plate shows the negative impression of the embossed characters.Shipping Available.
