Two Vintage Ohio Stamped Metal License Plates, 1944 and 1947 - This lot features two original stamped metal vehicle license plates from the State of Ohio, dating to the 1940s. The first plate is a 1944 issue, featuring a black field with embossed yellow-orange characters and a raised border. The central registration number is X-44-K, with OHIO - 1944 embossed along the bottom edge. The second plate is a 1947 issue, characterized by a dark green field and cream-yellow embossed characters and border. The central registration number is X-973-J, with 1947 - OHIO embossed along the bottom edge. Both plates are rectangular with rounded corners and include four primary mounting holes, with additional smaller factory-stamped holes present. The reverse of each plate has two small strips of white adhesive material attached at the top corners. Dimensions: approximately 12 inches x 6 inches each.Shipping Available.
