A Trio of Vintage Ohio Embossed Metal License Plates, 1950, 1951, and 1956 - A trio of vintage embossed metal license plates from the state of Ohio, representing the years 1950, 1951, and 1956. Each plate is constructed from heavy-gauge stamped metal with a painted finish. The 1950 plate features black embossed characters X 973 J on a yellow ground, with the inscription OHIO - 1950 along the bottom edge. The 1951 plate is a smaller format style featuring yellow embossed characters X 95 H on a dark blue or black ground, with the inscription 1951 - OHIO along the bottom edge. The 1956 plate features white embossed characters X 227 H on a teal green ground, with the inscription OHIO - 1956 along the bottom edge. The reverse of each plate displays the corresponding recessed embossing and shows various stages of oxidation. White adhesive mounting tape is present on the back of each plate. 1950 and 1956 plates: 12 x 6 inches 1951 plate: 10.25 x 5 inches.Shipping Available.
