A Pair of Vintage Single-Bit Axes including a Genuine Norlund Camp Axe and a Large Felling Axe - This lot features two vintage single-bit axes, each equipped with a leather blade guard. The first item is a genuine Norlund camp axe. The forged steel head is stamped with the word GENUINE in block lettering above the Norlund name in a cursive script. It includes its original or period-appropriate leather blade guard, which is embossed with the Norlund canoe logo. The head is mounted on a curved wooden handle. The second item is a full-sized single-bit felling axe. The steel head features a green-painted finish and lacks visible maker marks. It is mounted on a long wooden handle and includes a leather blade guard secured with leather thongs. Norlund axe overall length: 26 inches Large felling axe overall length: 35 inches. Pickup is Friday, July 31, from Noon to 7 pm at our facility in Lancaster, OH. Alternate pickup day is available by appointment for a $5 fee per lot or we will provide in-house shipping for this item.
