Sledgehammer and a Carpenter's Adze with Leather Sheath - This lot consists of two vintage manual tools: a large double-faced sledgehammer and a curved blade carpenter's adze. The sledgehammer features a forged steel head mounted on a dark-stained hardwood handle, secured by a wooden wedge at the eye. The adze is of traditional construction with a steel head and a light-colored hardwood handle. It is accompanied by a custom-fit leather blade cover featuring copper-tone rivets and leather tie-down straps. Pickup is Friday, July 31, from Noon to 7 pm at our facility in Lancaster, OH. Alternate pickup day is available by appointment for a $5 fee per lot or we will provide in-house shipping for this item.
