Circa 1978 Husqvarna 250 WR Off Road Motorcycle - Project bike, missing right-hand cover plate on engine. This Husqvarna 250 WR is a vintage Swedish off road motorcycle featuring an air cooled 250cc single cylinder two stroke engine. The bike is equipped with a signature red fuel tank featuring polished metal side panels and the Husqvarna H logo. Markings on the tank include a decal stating Made in Sweden with the Swedish flag. The engine crankcase is embossed with Husqvarna 250 WR and the side panels are marked with 250. The frame head tube retains an original safety warning label from Husqvarna AB in Huskvarna, Sweden, indicating the vehicle is designed for racing only. The handlebars are fitted with a VDO brand speedometer and odometer. Notable period performance upgrades include dual rear shocks with remote reservoirs labeled Ohlins Racing. Has compression. Accessories included with the lot are an original Husqvarna Motorcycles Owner Manual specified for frame numbers beginning with CN 11000, WN 11000, and XN 11000.
