The machine features a cast iron cutting arm and frame mounted on a tapered sheet metal pedestal stand. It is powered by a top-mounted Dayton Industrial Motor, Model No. 5K192C, which is a 1/3 horsepower, single-phase induction motor rated for 1725 RPM and 115/230 volts. The saw is equipped with an integrated screw-adjust material vise, a blade tensioning knob, and a belt-drive system housed behind a metal guard. The original manufacturer's identification plate is riveted to the saw arm and includes the stylized Dayton logo, model number 3Z360C, and serial number W L. The unit is currently secured to a non-original, shop-made wooden rolling base equipped with four casters. Main body length: 35 inches Base length: 34 inches.
