Antique Belleville Pottery Company 10 Gallon Stoneware Butter Churn - An antique salt-glazed stoneware butter churn manufactured by the Belleville Pottery Company of Belleville, Ontario. This 10-gallon capacity vessel features an ovoid body with a flared rim and two robust, applied lug handles. Each handle terminal is decorated with impressed ribbing at the attachment points. The shoulder of the crock is stamped with a large ”10” capacity mark and a maker's mark enclosed within a heart-shaped border that reads ”B.P. Co. BELLEVILLE ONT.” The interior of the churn is finished with a dark brown glaze. This item is complete with a two-piece wooden split lid and a wooden dasher featuring a cross-shaped base with four perforated holes. Crock Height: 24 inches Overall Height with Dasher: 43 inches.Pickup is Friday, July 17, from Noon to 7 pm at the home in Londonderry, OH or we will provide in-house shipping for this item.
