An Assortment of Vintage Starrett Precision Measuring Tools and Micrometer Sets - This collection comprises an assortment of precision machinist measuring instruments manufactured by The L.S. Starrett Co. of Athol, Massachusetts. The lot includes a No. 224 Micrometer Caliper Set A with a measurement range of 2 inches to 6 inches, featuring a black-finished frame and a satin chrome thimble. This set is housed in a fitted wooden case with four interchangeable anvils, a small adjustment wrench, and standards. Also included is an inside micrometer set consisting of a micrometer head and nine extension rods of varying lengths, presented in a black textured hardshell case. The collection further contains components for a Starrett Last Word test indicator and accessories, including a No. 564 indicator attachment and various mounting arms and clamps held in original red cardboard boxes, one of which is labeled No. 711 Universal Shank. Completing the assortment is a Swivel Post Snug, Cat. No. 657H or 665D, in its original packaging. Major components bear the manufacturer's stamp: THE L.S. STARRETT CO. ATHOL, MASS. U.S.A. One indicator component is marked with No. 564 and Pat. No. 1933028.
