Two Vintage Advertising Items Including Eshelman Red Rose Farm Feeds Sign and En-Ar-Co Motor Oil Can - This lot features two pieces of mid-20th-century agricultural and automotive advertising. The first item is a painted metal sign for Eshelman Red Rose Farm Feeds, produced by John W. Eshelman and Sons. The sign consists of two fragments that together form a Cattle Crossing warning. The left fragment displays the vertical text CATTLE CROSSING in blue block letters on a yellow field with the Eshelman script logo above it. The right fragment displays the RED ROSE FARM FEEDS branding in red with a central rose graphic. A manufacturer date code of 4-58 is visible on the lower edge, indicating a production date of April 1958. The second item is a five-quart capacity metal motor oil can for En-Ar-Co Motor Oil, a brand of the National Refining Company. The can features cream, red, and blue lithography with the brand C-1 designation prominently displayed. The trademark Boy and Slate logo is present on the lower right of the main face.
