Antique Cast Iron Combination Bench Anvil and Vise - This antique workshop tool is a heavy-duty combination bench anvil and vise constructed of cast iron. The unit features a dual-purpose design with a flat anvil face and a tapered conical horn for metal shaping, integrated with a functional screw-driven vise. The vise mechanism is controlled by a sliding T-handle with a large spherical hub. The body is supported by a flanged base with four mounting holes for securing the tool to a workbench. A heavy-duty square-thread screw is visible within the open-bottom casting. Faint stamped marks are present on the top flat face but are illegible due to heavy oxidation and surface wear.
