Commemorative Metal Booster License Plate, Nelsonville, Ohio Sesquicentennial, 1953 - This is a promotional metal booster license plate produced for the 150th anniversary of Nelsonville, Ohio, and the Parade of the Hills festival in 1953. The rectangular plate is constructed from a flat metal sheet with rounded corners and four pre-drilled mounting holes. The obverse features screen-printed graphics in dark blue over a bright yellow background. The design includes arched serif text at the top reading NELSONVILLE. The center contains a silhouette map of the state of Ohio with script lettering reading OHIO. This central graphic is flanked by the phrase Parade of the Hills in quotation marks. Ribbon-style banners on either side of the map display the years 1803 and 1953. A solid blue horizontal bar at the bottom contains the text HEART OF THE HOCKING VALLEY in yellow block lettering. The reverse side has a uniform metallic gold-toned finish.Pickup is Friday, July 17, from Noon to 7 pm at the home in Londonderry, OH or we will provide in-house shipping for this item.
