A Collection of Precision Machinist Tools and Technical Ephemera Including Mitutoyo, Starrett, and Brown and Sharpe - This lot consists of an assortment of precision machinist measurement, setup, and cutting tools along with various technical reference materials. The collection features several high-precision measuring instruments, including a Mitutoyo Digimatic 6-inch (150mm) digital caliper in a gray case with blue and green foam, a Fowler and NSK MAX-CAL 6-inch electronic digital caliper (model 350-201) in a black and orange case, and a Brown and Sharpe model 579-1 dial caliper with a Swiss-made shockproof dial graduated to .001 inch in a fitted wooden case. Setup and layout tools include a Starrett No. S154 S adjustable parallel set in a red vinyl pouch and a Starrett No. 161-B toolmaker's parallel clamp with knurled adjustment screws. Cutting and hand tools include an assortment of reamers and drill bits, including a 5/16-inch straight flute reamer (marked 1655), a 25/64-inch high-speed steel reamer, and multiple reamers in plastic protective sleeves marked River GF and Tape Division of TRW Inc. Also included is an assortment of nut drivers with translucent color-coded handles and a large taper shank twist drill bit. Technical reference materials include a Kennametal Tool Application Handbook, a vintage Loctite product selector slide tool, a Republic Steel Useful Metallurgical Data spiral booklet, an Atkins Borg-Warner Saws booklet, and various decimal equivalent and tap drill size cards from Starrett and National Twist Drill and Tool.
