An Assortment of Vintage Industrial and Household Collectibles Including a Harrington Fire Alarm Box and Sparklets Soda Siphon - This lot features a cast metal fire alarm box manufactured by the Harrington Signal Co. of Moline, Illinois. The box is constructed with a gabled top embossed with the word FIRE in relief. The face of the unit is marked FIRE ALARM STATION and HARRINGTON SIGNAL CO. MOLINE, ILLINOIS, and includes the identification number 43. A hinged access door is present with embossed instructions reading RAISE COVER and PULL LEVER LIFT. The interior contains a secondary red-painted housing with a pull handle and instructions stating PULL HANDLE DOWN ONCE AND LET GO. Also included is a vintage soda siphon from the Sparklets New York Corporation. The siphon features a glass body protected by a woven brown wire mesh jacket and a metal dispensing head with an attached CO2 cartridge holder. Completing the collection is an assortment of utility insulators made of glass and ceramic. These include examples in aqua, dark green, clear, glazed brown, and white, featuring various bell and double-skirted profiles.
