* Iver Johnson's Arms & Cycle Works Secret Service Special Double Action Revolver .38 S&W with 3 Inch Barrel - This Iver Johnson's Arms & Cycle Works Secret Service Special is a top-break, double-action revolver chambered for .38 S&W ammunition. The firearm is equipped with a 3-inch barrel and features decorative floral scroll engraving across the frame and cylinder flats. The metal surfaces show significant wear, oxidation, and pitting throughout. It is fitted with non-factory wooden grips that have been hand-modified with stippled punch marks on the left panel and the number 159 carved into the right panel. The sights consist of a fixed blade front and a notched rear integral to the top-break latch. Prominent markings include -SECRET SERVICE SPECIAL- on the left side of the barrel and FOR 38 SMITH & WESSON CTGS followed by an arrow on the top rib. The serial number 297374 is stamped on the underside of the grip frame. The revolver is accompanied by a brown leather holster featuring a brass snap button marked BAKER BROS. MFG. CO. ST. LOUIS.
