* Winchester Model 74 Semi-Automatic Rifle .22 Short with 24 Inch Barrel - This Winchester Model 74 is a semi-automatic rifle chambered in .22 Short, featuring a 24-inch blued steel barrel and a walnut stock. The rifle utilizes a tubular magazine that is loaded through a port on the right side of the buttstock. It is equipped with a blade front sight, an elevator-adjustable rear notch sight, and two sling swivels. Key markings include the manufacturer and model designations on the left side of the barrel specifying - WINCHESTER - TRADE MARK - MODEL 74 - .22 SHORT and WINCHESTER REPEATING ARMS CO. PATENT PENDING. The left side of the receiver is stamped with the serial number 67619. The right side of the barrel and receiver are marked with various British proof symbols including crowns over the letters BV, BP, and NP, as well as the text . 22 S and the export marking NOT ENGLISH MAKE. A modern import stamp for LCL INC. Scottsdale AZ is present on the right side of the barrel. The rifle features a cross-bolt safety located at the front of the trigger guard.
