Benchmade Model 239 Weehawk Balisong Butterfly Knife - This is a vintage Benchmade Model 239 balisong, commonly known as a butterfly knife. The piece features a single-edge clip point blade with a high polish finish, consistent with the Weehawk pattern. The blade tang is stamped on one side with the text BENCHMADE U.S.A. and on the opposite side with the registered Bal-Song butterfly logo. The split handles are constructed from polished Zamak, a zinc-based alloy, and feature five oval-shaped lightening holes per side. The knife is equipped with a T-style latch at the base of the bite handle to secure the handles in the open or closed position. The construction utilizes original pivot pins. Overall length open: 9.375 inches Closed length: 5.25 inches Blade length: 4.125 inches. In-house shipping is available. Pickup is Friday, Aug. 28, from Noon to 7 pm at our facility in Lancaster, OH.
