Vintage Buck 501 Micarta Squire Folding Lockback Knife and Leather Sheath - A vintage single-blade folding lockback pocket knife manufactured by Buck Knives, identified as model 501, the Squire. The knife features a polished stainless steel drop-point blade and a handle constructed with black paper micarta scales, stainless steel bolsters, and brass pins. The tang is stamped on three lines: Buck in a stylized Old English font, 501, and U.S.A. The absence of a dating symbol next to the model number indicates a production period between approximately 1972 and 1986. The knife is accompanied by a brown leather belt sheath with a metal snap closure and white perimeter stitching.
