Chinese Blue and White Porcelain Square Chinoiserie Vase - A large blue and white porcelain vase featuring a rectangular body and a waisted, flared neck with a square section rim. The decorative scheme consists of dense scrolling lotus vines and blossoms on the main faces and neck. A diaper pattern band adorns the shoulder, while the rim and base are finished with scrolling floral borders. The interior is glazed white. The base of the vase is unglazed with a recessed, circular glazed center. No characters, reign marks, or maker marks are clearly distinguishable; only faint, irregular blue pigment spots are present within the circular glazed area.  Rim width: approximately 6.4 inches. In-house shipping is available. Pickup is Friday, Aug. 28, from Noon to 7 pm at our facility in Lancaster, OH. Alternate pickup day is available by appointment for a $5 fee per lot or we will provide in-house shipping for this item.
