Victorian Gingerbread Stained Wood Mantel Clock with Brass Bust - A Victorian gingerbread kitchen shelf clock featuring a stained wood case with a reddish-brown finish. The arched crest is topped with a central brass-toned bust of a classical figure, flanked by scrollwork and turned wooden spikes. The case is further decorated with turned wooden side pillars and rests on a multi-stepped base. The circular dial has a cream face with Roman numerals, a brass bezel, and two winding arbors. A gold-stenciled glass door depicts palm trees and a neoclassical central figure. The internal mechanical movement is key-wound and features a coiled wire strike gong. Included with the clock is an embossed brass-toned pendulum and a double-ended winding key. The back of the case is fitted with a brass mounting bracket for wall hanging.
