Vintage Lava-Simplex-Scribe Century Model 100 Starlight Motion Lamp with Red Wax - This vintage Lava Lite Century model (Model 100) motion lamp was produced by Lava-Simplex-Scribe. The lamp features a conical base and matching top cap constructed of brushed aluminum with a champagne gold-toned anodized finish. The base is distinguished by a decorative starlight pattern comprised of small circular perforations that emit light when the lamp is powered. The clear glass bottle contains red wax suspended in liquid. The lamp is equipped with a brown two-conductor power cord, a black plastic inline toggle switch, and a two-prong plug. A blue Underwriters Laboratories (UL) sticker is affixed to the interior of the base and is transcribed as follows: Underwriters Laboratories Inc. LISTED PORTABLE LAMP ISSUE NO. B-2981 E-10350. The lamp is pictured in functional, illuminated condition. Height: Approximately 17 inches.
