Large Neoclassical Style Fluted Plaster Column Pedestal - This architectural salvage item is a large-scale pedestal designed in a classical neoclassical style, suitable for use as a display stand. The piece is constructed from cast plaster or a similar composition material. It features a fluted shaft, a decorative element characteristic of classical architectural orders. The column transitions from a square base through a series of circular torus moldings into the main vertical body. The top terminates in a flat, circular platform intended to support a bust, sculpture, or large plant. The exterior is finished with a white paint that has been aged and distressed over time.
