Large LCI Decorative Old Crab House Tavern Sign Reproduction - A large contemporary decorative wall plaque produced by LCI of Wildwood, New Jersey. The plaque is a reproduction of a 19th-century tavern-style sign, featuring a tombstone shape with an arched top and stepped shoulders. The central design consists of a three-dimensional relief of a crab finished in ochre yellow, set within an oval recessed field. The top is inscribed with the text Old Crab House in arched gold-toned lettering, while the bottom section reads The Old Crab Lives Here in block lettering flanked by scrollwork. The plaque is constructed from composite materials with a painted and lacquered finish designed to simulate aged wood. The reverse features two horizontal support slats and a hanging wire. An original manufacturer tag on the reverse identifies the maker as LCI and states the item was handmade and handpainted in China. Height: 25 inches Width: 16 inches.
