Vintage Full Size Trade Violin After Antonius Stradivarius with Bow and Case - A vintage full size trade violin modeled after a classical instrument by Antonius Stradivarius. The instrument features a spruce top with medium-fine grain and a two-piece maple back with horizontal flaming. The fingerboard, tuning pegs, chin rest, and tailpiece are constructed of ebony. An interior torn paper label is visible through the bass-side f-hole and reads ntonius Stradivarius Cremonensis / Faciebat Anno 17 followed by a circular emblem featuring a cross above the letters AS. The accompanying bow is constructed of a reddish hardwood stick with an ebony frog featuring a mother-of-pearl eye. The lot includes a vintage black hard case with a handle repaired with tan tape. The instrument is currently in a disassembled state with a loose bridge and one loose tuning peg. Case length: 31 inches. Pickup is Tuesday, August 25, from Noon to 7 pm at the home in Marion, OH or we will provide in-house shipping for this item. We will charge a $10 fee to bring this lot back to our warehouse in Lancaster, OH for shipping or alternative pickup. Once packed up we will send you an invoice for shipping & handling.
