A Pair of Aesthetic Movement Faux Bamboo and Brass Mounted Side Tables - A pair of hardwood side tables or plant stands designed in the Aesthetic Movement style of the late 19th or early 20th century. Each table features a square tray top with raised mitered gallery edges. The support structure is composed of legs and stretchers turned to simulate natural bamboo. The joinery is reinforced with decorative brass collars at the primary intersections. The base includes crossed stretchers ornamented with central turned rings. Each leg is further embellished with a secondary exterior spindle featuring ball-and-ring turnings and topped with an acorn-style finial. The feet are finished with small turned pads. No maker marks, labels, or signatures are visible. 10 inches Wide x 10 inches Deep x 21 inches Tall. Pickup is Tuesday, August 25, from Noon to 7 pm at the home in Marion, OH or we will provide in-house shipping for this item.
