Burns-Pollock Electric Manufacturing Company Capitol Lamp Phonograph - A Burns-Pollock Electric Manufacturing Company Capitol lamp phonograph. This dual-purpose antique combines a mechanical acoustic phonograph with an electric table lamp. The unit features a cast metal base containing an internal horn and is supported by four Art Nouveau-style claw feet. The upper portion houses a manual turntable with a green felt surface, an acoustic tonearm, a soundbox, and three integrated needle cups. Two light sockets are mounted to the frame and are operated by pull chains with gold-tone tassels. The lamp is topped with a hexagonal, two-tier fabric lampshade crafted from burgundy velvet and pleated salmon-pink silk. The shade is decorated with embroidered dragonfly motifs, silk fringe, long tassels, and strands of glass beads. 22 inches Height x 17 inches Width.
