Oil Copy of Still Life with Strawberries and Flowers by Osias Beert the Elder - This work is an oil on canvas still-life painting, executed as a copy of a well-documented composition by the Flemish Old Master Osias Beert the Elder. The painting depicts an elaborate tabletop arrangement including a Wanli-style blue and white porcelain vase containing tulips and a red anemone, a porcelain plate filled with wild strawberries, a silver footed bowl of cherries, a crusty bread roll, a decorative silver sugar caster, and a knife with a checkered handle.
