Miller Lamp Co. Green Slag Glass and Prism Fringe Electric Table Lamp - Table lamp manufactured by Edward Miller and Company of Meriden, Connecticut. Originally designed as a kerosene lamp, this piece has been converted for electrical use. The lamp features a six-panel leaded slag glass shade in marbled green and white tones, topped with a flared six-panel crown. The lower edge of the shade is adorned with a decorative fringe consisting of alternating clear rectangular glass prisms and strands of graduated white glass beads. The cast metal font and base are finished in a dark brass tone. The font is embellished with an embossed Greek key border, and the central stem is supported by four large C-scroll brackets. The circular footed base features scrolled and foliate motifs. A clear glass chimney is seated within the assembly. The font is embossed with the maker mark MILLER LAMP MADE IN USA. Pickup is Tuesday, August 25, from Noon to 7 pm at the home in Marion, OH or we will provide in-house shipping for this item. We will charge a $10 fee to bring this lot back to our warehouse in Lancaster, OH for shipping or alternative pickup. Once packed up we will send you an invoice for shipping & handling.
