Vintage Reproduction Rainier Beer 1909 Advertising Calendar - This vintage reproduction advertising calendar commemorates the Rainier Beer brand and the Seattle Brewing & Malting Company. The central design is a pre-Prohibition style Art Nouveau lithographed portrait of a woman with dark hair, draped in a lavender gown and fur stole while holding a small bouquet of violets. The portrait is framed by an oval border and surrounded by individual calendar grids for the twelve months of 1909. The Seattle Brewing & Malting Company logo is located in the upper left corner, and the Rainier brand name is rendered in red cursive script on the left side. The print is housed in a substantial wooden frame featuring an ornate metallic-finished composite inner molding with leaf and scroll motifs. The back is constructed with period-correct horizontal wooden slats. While designed to mimic an original 1909 advertisement, the print exhibits a dot-pattern consistent with mid-20th-century reproduction techniques. Dimensions not recorded.
