A Trio of Vintage Decorative Items Including a Sessions Electric Mantel Clock Peacock Tray and Ceramic Horse Head Ashtray - This lot features a group of three vintage decorative pieces reflecting Art Deco and Mid-Century Modern styles. The first item is a Sessions electric mantel clock featuring a square wood case with a prominent grain and a brass-toned metal base and bezel. The clock face is marked Sessions at the center and Mastercrafters Clock and Radio Co. at the bottom. The reverse of the clock has a black metal plate stamped with Model W, A.C. 110V 60 Cycle 2 Watt, and The Sessions Clock Co. Forestville, Conn. U.S.A. along with six patent numbers: 1935208, 1977184, 1996375, 1977185, 2049261, and 1977186. The second item is an Art Deco style vanity or serving tray consisting of a metal frame surrounding a glass-protected image of a stylized peacock against a large yellow moon and a starry night sky. The reverse side of the tray is finished in a solid blue metal. The third item is a Mid-Century Modern ceramic ashtray shaped like a horse's head with a stylized mane serving as cigarette rests. It is finished in a vibrant chartreuse or lime green glaze. The underside is unglazed and incised with U S A and the number 140. Clock: 8.5 inches high by 8.5 inches wide Tray: 10.5 inches high by 13.5 inches wide Ashtray: 7 inches wide by 5 inches high. Pickup is Tuesday, August 25, from Noon to 7 pm at the home in Marion, OH or we will provide in-house shipping for this item.
