Seth Thomas Triple Decker Mahogany Shelf Clock - An antique American triple decker shelf clock manufactured by Seth Thomas in Plymouth Hollow, Connecticut. The mahogany-veneered case features a column-and-cornice design with faux-tortoiseshell painted columns capped by gilt-painted wooden capitals and bases. The three-part door contains a painted wooden dial in the upper section with black Roman numerals, floral corner motifs, and a central cutout revealing the brass movement. The two lower sections feature reverse-painted eglomise glass panels; the middle panel depicts golden drapery and flowers, while the bottom panel shows a basket of fruit and flowers within a red, white, and blue border. The interior backboard retains its original paper manufacturer label identifying the maker as Seth Thomas of Plymouth Hollow, Connecticut. The clock is powered by a weight-driven mechanical brass movement and includes an internal coiled wire strike gong. 31 inches h x 18.5 inches wide.
