Thomas Haller German Art Deco Mechanical Floor Clock - We will have this lot moved to the ground level garage for you, but you must move and load it into your vehicle. A German mechanical floor clock manufactured by Thomas Haller AG in Schwenningen during the Art Deco period. The wooden case features a rectangular form with burr wood veneers, likely walnut, on the door frame and the stepped base which rests on four bun feet. The square brass-toned dial is designed with black Arabic numerals, a decorative inner square border, and black-finished spade hands. The mechanical, weight-driven movement features an eight-rod Westminster chime assembly. The movement backplate is stamped with the manufacturer trademark depicting a knight on horseback, the name Haller in script, and the designations Mit Garantie and D.R.G.M., indicating a registered German design protection mark. 73.75 inches high x 19.25 inches wide x 9.75 inches deep. You must come pay, load and remove during the pickup window of Tuesday, Aug. 25 from Noon to 7 pm at the home in Marion, OH. No exceptions! No sales tax collected on this auction.
