American Empire Style Mahogany Queen Size Four Poster Bed - We will have this lot moved to the ground level garage for you, but you must move and load it into your vehicle. An American Empire style four-poster bed constructed of mahogany and sized for a queen mattress. The bed features four substantial posts decorated with deep-relief carvings including stylized ostrich feathers, acanthus foliage, gadrooned rings, and bulbous turned sections. The lower square blocks of the posts are accented with carved concentric circle bosses. The headboard is topped with a central crest featuring a carved acanthus leaf spray flanked by scrolled volutes. The bed frame includes the headboard, four posts, and rectangular side and foot rails. A modern mattress and box spring are included, with the mattress bearing a red and white Permalator brand label. Post height: 89 inches. You must come pay, load and remove during the pickup window of Tuesday, Aug. 25 from Noon to 7 pm at the home in Marion, OH. No exceptions! No sales tax collected on this auction.
