A Piece of Cinematic History - A 1960 Shooting Script from the Epic Movie 'Cleopatra'! This incredibly rare script belonged to script supervisor, Elaine Schreyeck (1924-2025) and includes many EXTRAS! The actual date given on the script is the 15th July, 1960. This would have been for the British shoot at Pinewood studios - which ended a few months later with only ten minutes of usable footage at the cost of five million dollars! Peter Finch and Stephen Boyd were replaced with Rex Harrison and Richard Burton when production moved to Rome. The script is split into tagged shoot sections and is peppered with hand written notes and observations. Extras - Principal cast list (suggested cast), unit list, ideas for the new script, production meeting notes, 20th Century Fox inter office correspondence, a memo from Rouben Mamoulian, November 23rd, 1959 regarding proposed continuity regarding N.
