An Ancient Pre-Columbia Colima Red Clay Vessel in Squash/Gourd Form. Colima vessels were frequently buried with the dead in shaft graves serving as offerings. Slight chip damage at lip but please see photos. 16cm tall, 25cm at widest point, 13cm diameter at rim. Purchased in Mexico in the 1950s.
