A James Bond 'Diamonds are Forever' Original Film Memorabilia Package. From the estate of the films script and continuity editor Elaine Schreyeck (1924-2025). Item 1: Part of an original revised first draft of the script - in excellent condition. Item 2: An original black and white photograph of Sean Connery in discussion with Elaine and the films director, Guy Hamilton. They appear to be on location in Amsterdam. Item 3: A large collection of memos between the crew and producers of the film. My personal favourite is from the Director to Cubby Broccoli and Harry Saltzman. There seems to be a problem with the confrontation scene between Blofeld and Bond. The Jimmy Dean (Willard Whyte) dubbing was not working due to Charles Gray's (Blofeld) drawl being too slow! Three options and a hand written note (attached) offer the solution. Item 4: Script changes. Again, a wide array of original notes and suggestions regarding every aspect of the script. I cannot stress what an important piece of film history is contained in this lot. A detailed behind the scenes look at one the official last (not counting Never say Never Again) Connery, Bond role.
