An Antique Viennese 19th Century Silver, Lithyalin, Hard Stone and Pearl Set Bowl. In the Renaissance Revival style. Rare lithyalin glass oval bowl raised on a pierced, oval foot and four agate ball feet. Foliate tendrils with malachite fruits, baroque pearl buds and a silver dragon. Unmarked. 18cm length, 12cm tall. Lithyalin Glass is a form of glass developed by Friedrich Egermann (Bohemian, 1777 - 1864) in 1828, which resembles a polished hardstones such as agate or marble. Condition report: main body in excellent condition with no cracks, one ball on base stand needs a little attention.
