A German Antique Silver Singing Bird Box. Circa 1925. Karl Griesbaum style. Shaped rectangular form. The faces are decorated in relief with cherubs playing musical instruments, songbirds and flowers among scrolls over a stippled background. The going barrel movement is operated by a push/pull lever at the side. Feathered bird automaton with wings and beak movements. Comes with winding key. 10.5cm length, 5.5cm tall. Hallmarks are faded. In full working order.
