A Rare Antique 19th Century Austrian Large Solid Silver and Enamel Tower Clock. Circa 1890, attributed to Herman Boehm, Vienna. In the Renaissance Revival Style. Enamelled dome mounted by a silver and enamelled figure of a knight, flanked by four further knights. Pierced crests centred by male masks above the main clock tower. Enamelled dials with Roman numerals to each of the four sides. Enamelled panels depicting classical scenes, flanked by four freestanding columns mounted by knights. Raised on a stepped square base over four gargoyle cast feet. 2620g weight. 46cm height, 21cm length. Some small surface marks to enamel but in good condition overall, three dials have full ticking hands. Needs a service, key not included. Displays beautifully.
