A Wonderful Vintage Bronze of Guy the Gorilla by William Timyn (1901-1990). Signed by the artist on inner leg. 39cm length x 25cm widest point by 33cm highest point. 14.7 kilos. The sculpture shows Guy on all fours with head turned to the right. Guy was a Western lowland gorilla born on 30th May 1946 who arrived on London from Paris Zoo on Guy Fawkes night, 5th November 1947. Winning bidder is advised to pick up from Cadmore HQ.
