A Magnificent 15K Solid Gold, Nephrite Jade, Diamond and Plique-à-Jour Enamel Russian Style Bowl by Simon Rudle. The large 20th century bowl features a finely carved nephrite jade body applied with laurel garlands suspended from a reeded 15K solid gold ring and raised on a solid gold stand. The top is set with thistle-shaped plique-à-jour enamel, with platinum junctions set with diamonds to the stand. Laser tested as 15K gold, with approximately 300+ grams of gold. Signed Rudle. Nephrite jade in excellent condition. Size approx: 18cm height x 25.5cm width. Impressive total weight: 1060g. Winning bidder must collect from Cadmore HQ or arrange a courier. *Simon Rudle was a Russian-born jeweller from Odessa, Ukraine, later working in New York from the 1970s to 2000s. He came from a distinguished jewellery family and was known for Fabergé-style craftsmanship, producing bespoke pieces for wealthy clients. Rudle worked with prestigious houses including Bulgari, David Webb, Tiffany & Co. and Van Cleef & Arpels before opening his own workshop in 1978. His work pays homage to master jeweller Carl Peter Fabergé.
