Stellar Hamilton County, Alabama One Gallon Andrew "Jack" Jackson Rye 1860's Jar Born 1836 ( Tennessee ) - 1910 Hamilton-Marion Co. Alabama. Circa: 1860s.Glaze: Ash glaze. Condition: One insignificant rim edge flake, no other damage & no cracks, or repairs. Highly sought after pitcher, due to form and also one of southern pottery most used utilitarian forms. This pitcher was documented by Countryman-Forbes and is pictured on their website under Marion Co - Pitchers and is the one on the left side in the section. Standing: 10 1/8" Tall
