Fine 1840-50 Edgefield Double Handle Sorghum Jug - Fine 1840-50 Five Gallon, Edgefield, South Carolina Double Handle Sorghum Jug. Strong Landrum shop, slave made vessel. Fantastic double handle and strong eye appeal with a rich earthy brown alkaline glaze. The sorghum jug has a 5 scratched into the shoulder with ( 5 ) which is a rare mark. The jug has a very well done restoration to one handle and is color blended to museum standards. No other condition issues present. No cracks orother repairs.
