Fine 1840-50s Edgefield SC 1/2 Gallon Jug - Fine 1840-50s Edgefield SC 1/2 Gallon Jug, slave made. This is a dark rich alkaline glazed half gallon fluid jug. The mouth has had a very good restoration, the handle is original, does show some paint blending justat the terminal. One insignificant base edge chip due to age and use. Very Good jug for any Edgefield collection. No other condtion issues present. Standing: 9 3/4” Tall
