Decorated Washington Co. Georgia 1gal Lap Churn - Decorated Washington County, Georgia One Gallon Lap Churn with wavy line decoration. This is a great example of late Washington County period pottery. Honey colored alkaline glaze with wavy line or hill decoration. This potter is unknown but also shows up later in Lanier County, Georgia and we know this due to the same handle and decoration. Condition, shows some light chips in rim from age and use. Fresh example. Standing: 103/8” Tall
