Southern 5gal Double Handle Sorghum Jug - Southern Five Gallon Double Handle Sorghum Jug. A unique under fired 5-gallon double handle sorghum jug with classic double handles and wide mouthed form. This example is unique being the fact it has strong traits of Crawford County, Georgia but the clay body is not Georgia, looks more to be Alabama. It is very common that Potters from Crawford County migrated back and forth or moved to Alabama and potted. This example shows the handles are unsigned. Condition wise excellent condition with one insignificant rim edge chip to the lip, no cracks or repairs present. Standing: 18 3/4 tall
